The two-bucket wash routine
- Park in shade or wash early morning. Never wash a coated car in direct Vegas sun on hot paint — soap flashes and hard water etches.
- Pre-rinse thoroughly. Low-pressure rinse from top to bottom to lift as much dust as possible before touching the paint.
- Foam with pH-neutral ceramic shampoo. No dish soap, no wax-boosted shampoos. A dedicated coating-safe shampoo like Gyeon Bathe or CarPro Reset.
- Two-bucket method. One bucket of soap, one of clean rinse water, both with grit guards. Rinse the mitt in the clean bucket between panels — this is what prevents wash-induced swirl marks.
- Wash top-down, straight lines. Roof, glass, upper panels, hood, doors, lower panels, wheels last with a dedicated wheel-only mitt.
